PRIMEDIC DefiMonitor XD brief introduction
PRIMEDIC DefiMonitor XD is an external defibrillator with integrated 6-channel ECG.
ECG can be recorded via PRIMEDIC SavePad, defibrillation paddles or 3-pin patient cable with adhesive ECG electrodes. PRIMEDIC DefiMonitor XD is available in a variety of configurations. The appropriate model number will be displayed in the monitor's welcome dialog.
In automatic mode, the ECG is analyzed by an implemented algorithm. If a life-threatening cardiac arrhythmia is detected, the device alerts the user of defibrillation and, when activated by the user, delivers the shock necessary to restore resistance. If the device does not detect an abnormal rhythm that requires defibrillation, no shock is delivered.
